can i hide in my closet?

i realized that i am not a kid anymore and cannot fit in my closet. i remember that my mom and big sister would use to go in these midnight sales in robinsons and i would tag along with them. while they're choosing and fitting clothes, i'd hide under the clothes racks, appreciating the different textures and prints. i'd also try to scare my mom and sister too. i also remember that whenever my cousins, sister and i would play hide and seek, the closet was always the first thing i'd go to. my mom and dad had these double closets where there are two iron rods back to back. i'd burrow deep into the clothes and hide at the back. i can stay there for an hour.

i wish i can hide in my closet now. or just under the clothes rack. that would be a perfect excuse not to go to work. don't you think?

oh by the way, i have submitted my resignation and will be tendering my last 30 days in our company. wish me luck! as i don't have any plans at all. good thing my mom approved of my plan to just rest for a month. i am hacking my brains for things to do from august - september. i really want to get back to custom-making clothes, DIY-ing and jewelry making. let's see if my laziness doesn't get to the best of me. haha!

button-up jacket - bossini (still thrifted)

This means that in a month, you will be able to rejuvenate yourself and sleep at normal times! :) I know you will find a great job :) It takes time but you can do it. To have the courage to resign your current job is already a big leap that most will be afraid to take! :)

Oh midnight sales sounds like fun! I've never been to one...actually never really heard of one either. But they are probably awesome!

hiding in closets was always the best place for games, even if it is one of the first places anyone actually looks.

Congrats on your month off!

Gizelle! Thanks for the touching comment on my page. You know, I'm glad that you followed your heart. I can't tell you that everything's gonna be alright. Cuz that's keeping your hopes too high.

But no matter how many trials come your way, both the good and the bad, as I said earlier, IT ALWAYS HAS PURPOSE. And eventually, things will get right after a rough road.

Love you dear! Haha I really do. What I like about you is you make sure you are a person within everybody's reach.

At first, I didn't want to be chummy because we don't really know each other, but the way you reply to my posts makes me feel that we can be friends (virtually at least), I feel you genuinely, unlike other people who'll just comment so you can follow/link back their blogs. Haha.

You are deeply admired.

hearts,

Love those shoes! I also remember doing that when I was younger, especially in stores. I would also play hide-and-go-seek under all the clothing racks and try to freak my mom out...which didn't work.

Aw, You look like a little kid! When my brother, my sister, and I were little and my mom had to drag us everywhere, we used to play hide and seek in the clothes racks..until we received enough disapproving looks from the salespeople. Hehe (:

Aww. I used to hide in our closet, too! My mom had a huge walk in closet, and she still does with her present house. I never really had that! :-( I still have a really small closet.

Glad you decided on resigning. That probably took a lot of courage!! Don't be discouraged if you don't find something right away. It might take a long time or maybe not. In time, you'll find something you'll really enjoy doing :)

Neat shoes, by the way! My parents are in the Philippines right now. They just got there Tuesday. They want me to come up with what I wanted for pasalubong. I'm thinking shoes because they're so expensive here! Any suggestions on what to get there?
